There are three standard charges for NHS dental treatments. All charges apply to an overall course of treatment, and not the individual items within the course of treatment. You will only pay one charge for each course of treatment, even if you need to visit your dentist more than once to finish it.

Some people, such as under 18s and pregnant women, are exempt from charges. Ask any member of our team for more information before you have any treatment with us if you are unsure.

Current treatment prices are displayed in our practice. They are reviewed annually by the Government and usually change a little every April.

If you are entitled to free treatment, in accordance with NHS regulations you will be required to show proof of your entitlement at each examination appointment.

Treatment under the NHS is available to secure and maintain your oral health. Patients are free to choose to have some treatments privately which are not available under the NHS – for example tooth whitening. Patients may also choose to have some treatment privately as an alternative to NHS treatment. It is possible to mix NHS treatment and private treatment within the same course of treatment.
